US President Barack Obama is visiting Ireland this May. Why not return the compliment and visit his native Hawaii?
If you’ve been watching the new series of “Hawaii Five-O” on TV lately you’ll have got a glimpse of the stunning natural beauty to be seen in Hawaii. Amazing beaches and impressive mountain ridges make for a really unique location where the weather is idyllic all year round.
But the islands also have a fascinating past and it is well worth taking time away from the shops and restaurants to visit some of the historical attractions. Native Hawaiians went from living in grass huts to having the first royal palace in the world with electric light within a space of just 70 years. Much of this dramatic change has been recorded in places such as the Bishop Museum and the Mission Houses Museum. More recent history may be experienced with a visit to the poignant USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
Aloha Holidays, Ireland’s only dedicated Hawaiian tour operator, has taken advantage of low-season air fares and is offering a 10 night spring break in Hawaii during May from E1860 per person. The price includes return airfares and taxes from Ireland as well as 10 nights in your choice of 3* accommodation in Waikiki in either a large self-catering apartment or a beach side hotel.
For the same price you can divide your time between Hawaii (6 nights) and Santa Monica (4 nights) allowing you to combine a wonderful Hawaiian holiday with some great Los Angeles shopping and sightseeing. Either package makes an ideal honeymoon, special occasion celebration or just a great holiday. Aloha Holidays is happy to adapt the deals by offering alternative hotels, extra islands, etc, though additional costs will apply.
