The Challenge
Introduce the privately owned Advanced Radiology Centre to the Irish public and medical sector as an alternative to traditional hospital-based radiology services.
The Results
Project PR worked with Advanced Radiology for two periods over a three year time frame. Initial activity included direct mail campaigns to GPs and consultants, assisting with identifying potential service ambassadors and establishing relationships with them and arranging visits by associated contacts within the medical profession. A database of contacts was developed and regular communication was made with this group.
An image library was developed for use by the media and in-house by Advanced Radiology in their print and online support materials. A programme of regular contact with the media was also established which included issuing news releases on company milestones, new locations, new equipment and special events.
One notable event was the scanning of 'Clonycavan Man', a bog body (pictured above) being investigated by the Irish Natural History Museum as part of a BBC 2 television Time Team documentary.
